ABOUT
Helena Magee (she/her) is a lighting designer, assistant, draftsperson, and electrician for theater, dance, fashion, and live events. Originally from Dallas, TX, she is now based just out of NYC in Jersey City, NJ, and holds a BFA in Lighting Design from Rutgers University Mason Gross School of the Arts. Helena currently works year-round as a draftsperson and on-site support team member for Astetyx Events (Technical Direction/Consultancy) contributing to the success of live events across the country all while freelancing as an assistant lighting designer and electrician for theater in New Jersey and NYC. She also has a brief history in digital lighting, collaborating with AEM Creations as a digital lighting artist and consultant on 3D scenes and models. EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
